Or just to rerun configure.
But be carefull: Only possible by same compiler versions.
In my case, it worked.
I took the sources, copied them, ran configure in the new directory.
After that I copied the directories lib, inlcude and bin except
qmake.exe.
That worked perfectly for me.
Have a nice day.

I have compiled Qt using the Visual Studio 2008 compiler on a Virtual

Machine (Win XP). When choosing the Qt directory where I compiled
QtCreator I automatically get the option of using Visual Studio
compiler. When copying the whole Qt directory to my usual computer and
try to create QtCreator projects from there I only get the option to
choose directory for MinGw. Are there any environment variables that I
am missing?
Copying Qt away from the place it was compiled and/or installed does not
work (easily). Best practice is to either use the binary installers or
to compile in the environment in which it will be used.
