There are several instances of hardcoded colors / wrong system color pickups (fg and/or fg) that dramatically reduce the program usability with system dark color schemes (tested on linux Gnome and KDE, k/ubuntu 9.04). Qtcreator version 1.2.1. Examples of broken colors (bright on (bright or dark on dark):
- search panel - multi-search results - variables during debugging (tooltips are fine) - tooltips displaying function signature on the fly (while typing only, mouse-over tooltips are fine) - ... several more I am ready to invest some time to fix those problems. In the first place I want to know at all if there is any interest and if my patches would be eventually merged into the official code.
