Yes that's why they not suitable for SVN. I'm sure the Trolls have a

Yes some Qt libs are added implictly. I can't remember right now how you get
rid of them.

I recommend creating a simple test project with a lib and a client app that
uses it to get familar with how it works.

Also resist the temptation to dump static libs into /usr/bin! Create a
dedicated 'products' directory for your libs and link to them there.
