The same behaviour is shown by *all combo* menu-widgets in the  
application, including the non-styled ones in the settings. I also  
noticed it in the OSX demos hosted at the Qt DevDays in Munich (where  
Creator was pushed very heavily).

Just use any combo menu in other application on OSX and then come back  
to Creator. You'll notice it right away. The menus take 3 times longer  
to fade out after any item is selected, during which time the UI is  
frozen.
