I tried it out (compiled the cppsupport branch in your git repository), and it looks pretty good! One thing I was wondering is why you chose to put the final nesting level in a view at the bottom, instead of just having everything in the tree? Same question about the combo box for projects, why are they not the top-level items in the tree?
