Hi,

I have never used eclipse nor eclipse qtjambi plugin, but what is the main benefit of it? Integrated designer? Hmm, you should register .jui files to be opened by designer.sh / bat ( btw does anybody fixed that script to pass incoming arguments to designer binary? )
and use maven plugin to handle jui->java recompilation.

... and yes I know, maven plugin is a little bit orphaned now, because I haven't time to maintain it, but I think it is working ...

In conclusion QT Jambi is not supported with Eclipse at all :( That is quite interesting why the integration is closed source. I cannot find any reasons for that when the plug-in doesn't even work with Eclipse anymore. The only solution seems to be start making the plug-in from scratch and releasing it under open-source license. Any idea how many man hours it would take? It would definitely be worth it.

Hi Petri,

As far as I know the jambi devs don't have the source code. It wasn't publicly released after Jambi was given to the community. Although I do remember a dev saying he found some svn traces from it but in the end it's still closed source so the chances of it getting released are very slim. :(

If you want to discuss things further you can always join the irc channel #qtjambi on freenode . Most devs hang around there.

I would like to use newest QT Jambi with Eclipse IDE. The problem is
that the newest Eclipse integration plug-in works only with QT Jambi
4.5.* version (as far as I know) . It would be a time to update the
Eclipse plug-in. I assume that upgrading the plug-in would not
    involve
too much work. Who is in charge of the Eclipse integration anyway
    and is
there a website where the source codes are available. I am Eclipse
plug-in developer myself so I could take a look as well.
