I've seen several discussions on this topic and haven't found a conclusion
that can be successfully applied to my problem. The error that pops up from
Eclipse is more or less the same as others have faced:

*The Qt Jambi Eclipse Integration has failed to load its plugins.
Reason for failure:*

*C:/Eclipse
3.2.2/plugins/com.trolltech.qtdesignerplugins/JambiCustomWidget.dll:
The file "C:/Eclipse
3.2.2/plugins/com.trolltech.qtdesignerplugins/JambiCustomWidget.dll" is not
a
valid Qt plugin.*

*C:/Eclipse 3.2.2/plugins/com.trolltech.qtdesignerplugins/JambiLanguage.dll:
The file "C:/Eclipse
3.2.2/plugins/com.trolltech.qtdesignerplugins/JambiLanguage.dll"
is not a
valid Qt plugin.*

I'm using QTJambi-OpenSource-4.3.4_01, binary version with Eclipse
3.2.2.I've followed the instructions on the site:

http://doc.trolltech.com/qtjambi-4.3.4_01/doc/html/com/trolltech/qt/qtjambi-eclipse.html

and can only get as far as attempting to open the "QT Widget Box" view.
Neither this nor opening the "Qt Designer UI" perspective works. The error
message above is popped. I was successfully run the
"register_eclipse_integration.bat"
batch file using Administrative privileges. The platform used is Windows XP.
Removing the "Qt Plugin Cache 4.3.false" registry key, which supposedly
works for the Evaluation Edition, does not make a difference here, since
it's inserted right back when Eclipse restarts.

I've read comments from Eskil (the Qt support group ?) back in June of 2007
regarding this being a temporary Eclipse-GPL compatibility problem. Has that
been resolved ? Or am I missing an important step ? Would I be forced to
upgrade to Eclipse 3.3 just to solve this ?

Many thanks to anyone in advance,

Dev0
