Qt adds support for 64-bit compilation with the 4.5 release, so Qt Jambi
4.4 doesn't have support for 64-bit at all. We'll see how to tackle this
problem when Qt 4.5 is out.

As for webstart, the main problem is that there are currently three
versions of webstart on mac os x. 12.0 (this is primarily present on
Tiger) This version doesn't support the -XstartOnFirstThread option we
require to run apps on the Mac OS X virtual machine, but we managed to
get it to work through a number of nasty hacks on our side. This version
has unfortunately stopped working. On Leopard there is webstart 12.1 and
12.2 versions of webstart, which does support the -XstartOnFirstThread,
but this doesn't work with our 12.0 trickery, so these don't work at all
currently.

Because Apple and Apple users tend to move rather fast to new systems,
the best option I can see is to disable the 12.0 hacks and start
supporting the 12.1 and 12.2, Leopard webstarts only. Does that sound ok?

So conclusion... Mac OS X webstart is currently out of order, but for
leopard it should be possible to do it once I get the docs in order and
we get a 4.5 package out. However, 64-bit will not work at all yet.
