I'm planning to enable camera support (platform specific) for qt-mobility,
I went through the information at:
1. qt-mobility-1.1.0-tp at

2. camera API at http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/CameraAPI
3. source code

Finally, I found there are two options in qt-mobility to add camera service:
1. QGstreamerCaptureService by customized pipeline
2. CameraBinService base on camerabin
Dmytro, Will these two options be kept for qt-mobility-1.1 release?
There are two platforms I'm working on: current platform and future one.
Camera on my current platform works in v4l2 share memory mode, no real
video data flows inside gst pipeline (between camera and hw encoder for
example); it is hard to make it work inside camerabin. So I prefer construct
gst pipeline like QGstreamerCaptureService does.
Dmytro: if we construct platform specific pipeline in QGstreamerCaptureService,
is it possible from upstream?
Future platform provides more flexibility; it is possible to make it
work in camerabin. (This platform is in early stage now.)
Dmytro: another question is about preview in QGraphicsVideoItem, when will
camera support preview in QGraphicsVideoItem?
