Forgive the intrusion if this has already been answered, but is the QtCameraControl API going to be the only supported interaction with the cameras on Meego (handset)? I've found a number of conflicting threads on the topic...
I had read somewhere that V4L2, or possibly gstreamer, would also be supported by lower/driver-level implementations for more direct access to the hardware. I was hoping to port an application written for V4L2 to the Meego platform. Also, if V4L2/GStreamer support is available - is that true for handset, netbook, or all Meego platforms or is each one going to possibly have different support? My app is most applicable to handsets, but it would be good to know in advance if it might work on the other Meego platforms. Thanks
