I discovered a problem with Creator 2.6 straight away, which is that jom
crashes when building!

OK I built Qt Creator 2.6 from the repo master. It does solve the issue of
running pure QML within Creator, thanks.
I also found the issue with flickr, which was my proxy setting.

The issue with no text on qmlvideo buttons continues. Not sure why?

The fix is in upcoming Qt Creator 2.6
Either you can wait for the beta release or checkout from master.

I’m using Qt Creator 2.4.0.
Yes I see "No qmlviewer installed" when viewing the Qt 5.0.0 version manually
detected.

Which version of QtCreator are you using? Do you see a warning "No qmlviewer
installed" in Options->Build And Run -> Qt Versions ?

I’m trying to run Qt Quick 2.0 qml on Windows 7.
I’ve installed and built Qt5 and some of the demos. Ingeneral the QtQuick demos
run when built as exes like samegame but not when the qml is loaded into
qmlscene, but I want to load the raw qml files as previously done with
qmlviewer but instead now using qmlscene.
1. Within Qt Creator to load a pure QML app using qmlscene. If I try this
exe I get:
Failed to start program. Path or permissions wrong? Which is like it didn’t
find it but I’m using the system environment.
2. If I run qmlscene externally it runs but when I load a QML file like
samegame or flickr I get the main UI but the buttons which do have text do
nothing.
3. The qmlvideo or qmlvideofx demos do not display text at all on the
buttons. Just before the alpha I built from a git repo and this much was working
4. In the case of flickr neither the exe or pure qml downloads any content
Is it still possible to run pure QML using the Qt Quick 2.0 import in qmlscene?
Can anyone else get the qml basics working in Qt Quick2 and help me?
