I have been very interested in using QTAda, for a while. I have also
downloaded a few versions of it for my work. Basically, I do believe that it
will be very useful for my work. However I have never been able to start,
due to scarcity of a simple start-up pack.
Can someone provide me with some help please. I need to know how to start
using the QtAda. I do have GPS compiler on my new Windows computer, and will
like to know what I need to do next. I understand that I need QtAda
software, but do I also need QT C++ as well as C++ compiler? Is there any
'Hello world' widget sample code one can build to test the development
environment? Is there any introductory pack available?
It is hard to say what you need to do next because of absence of some
important information. Which version of GNAT are you using? Which
version of Qt do you have? Is it commercial/evaluation or open source
edition?
In general, you need to install both Qt and QtAda. C++ compiler is
needed sometimes to install Qt/QtAda. QtAda is distributed with the set
of examples, they are in examples directory of source code package.
There is small tutorial also, see sub directories of examples/tutorial.
