what wrong here...? is passing non primitive using signal or slot
supported..? am using qtada 3.1 with Qt 4.7

This means your type is not known to amoc. One of the solutions is to use parameter of QVariant type and instantiation of Qt_Ada.Generic_Variants package to convert user's type into/from QVariant.

I also fill extension request to handle subclasses of QPaintDevice in signal/slot parameters.
