So I tried to reroute the error messages of startx to xsession-errors
like so:
startx qtile 2> ~/.xsession-errors
However the file is empty and apparently not used by any process
lsof ~/.xsession-errors
So I am not sure this actually worked. If there is a better way, please
let me know. I will wait for a freeze and see if something happens.

Ok, cool. Most errors /should/ appear in ~/.qtile.log, but depending
on how catastrophic they are (e.g. xcb segfault), they might not.
