Hi tycho,
Thankyou for the quick reply.
I managed to fix the error.
I did a host of things, before running
$ sudo locale-gen
$ sudo dpkg-reconfigure locales
(in succession)
which made qtile run without any errors.(I'm not completely sure if these
commands were the only reason for the fix though)
The IRC link in the github readme doesn't seem to be working/connecting,
could it be a problem for me here or is there an alternate chatgroup?
