I downloaded https://github.com/qtile/qtile.git and did:

  python setup.py build

and I ended up with:

  pkg_resources.ContextualVersionConflict: (cffi 0.9.2
  (/downloads/qtile/.eggs/cffi-0.9.2-py2.7-linux-x86_64.egg),
  Requirement.parse('cffi>=1.1.0'), set(['xcffib']))

Not sure where to go from here.
