Well, you are passing the arguments down, so you could just add the matches
in your list. Here is an example (again, untested, but it should be close
enough for a start):
('2', {'layout': 'monadtall', 'matches': [Match(title=['updates'],
wm_class=['Gnome-system-monitor', 'VirtualBox Manager'])] })
