You can turn off the swapping of the groups by adding toggle=False on

Furthermore, I want to limit my laptop screen to only and only one

"VBOX" in my instance.
That is "not" possible with Qtile.
That said, I think I saw some code somewhere, might have been this list
or something I dreamed, that could do something like that.
