OS: Arch
I have a very short script that sets a random wallpaper and then uses wpgtk
<https://github.com/deviantfero/wpgtk> to derive a colour scheme which is
then applied to my terminal, to my gtk theme, dunst ans a few other things.
It also applie it to the qtile config. All the other items are restarted
automatically (if needed) except qtile. So I then include the line

*                                          qtile cmd-obj -o cmd -f restart *

which should do the job.... But usually it completely freezes my screens
(except for mouse movement), particularly if the machine has been up for a
couple of hours or if there's a browser open, and I then have to drop to a
TTY and reboot.
If I comment out the line and restart qtile via my usual key-binding then
there's no problem. If I issue the same command from a terminal - it'll
probably crash...
