Those are some nice groups Keith!
 
I haven't tested crossbows very much but have heard that with the short bolts (less mass), kinetic energy reduces greatly after 40-50 yards. Thus less and less penetration the further the shot. I think for Elk, 35 yards is about my limit. Plus...I like em' close.....lol

Throughout this past week I've been able to dial my crossbow in pretty good. I'm hitting a two inch area at 15 yds, 25 yds and 35 yds so far. I'm gonna try dialing in my last two pins for 45 and 55 yds. Not sure I'll take a shot from those distances...just thinking the deer may flinch and drop causing a bad shot.
BTW, this will be my first year back hunting again since my accident in 96'.
