I need info on a hands free control unit for a TV  and  a completely hands free phone

I don't use a stand alone ECU, but I watch TV on my computer with the ATI All-in-wonder video card. Cable tv is plugged into it and I can control the channels. When I want to watch Video On-Demand or digital cable channels which require the digital cable receiver I switch the input source from cable to composite video. To control the digital cable receiver I use a program called Grider and the Tira: USB IR transmitter/receiver. The Tira can learn ir codes from other remote controls and send them from your computer. I use it control my cable receiver, vcr, fan and stereo. The Tira cost $49.

Here are 3 ir transmitters for the computer
