Yes I've tried Zanaflex and it caused me to have heart palpitations, so I couldn't take it.  I tried it to replace the Baclofen to see if the pain in my gut would get better, but couldn't take the weird side effect. I've also tried OxyContin and couldn't handle the drugged/drowsy feeling and it did not help my pain, but could not get up to the higher dosage to see if it would help because of the side effects.  That has happened with a lot of medications.  For the medication to work, I had to get up to a really high dose, which affected my digestive tract and caused me to be totally drugged out.
