I'm a C5/6 with use of my left arm and little bit on the right with no fingers also.
I'm on the Board of directors of a local non profit org that helps people transition out of nursing homes.
They do travel to rallies and events and throw fundraisers and I meet some great people both AB and not.
They've taken me on trips to Washington for ADAPT rallies which was a blast and I plan on going again this year the surprising thing was we stayed at the Hyatt Regency and they gave me expense money too!
I was shocked!
Try looking into an Independent Living Center in your area and see what's going on there.
They might know of a non profit like the one I'm with also.

I am a c/4 incomplete, I have use of my left arm a little use of my right. I can't move my fingers to pick up things so I need help with stuff like getting someone to help me get a drink while I'm out. what kind of volunteer groups could I be productive in or what other things could i do to get out to meet people besides school.
