Hey Amye,
I dove into a river and remember looking up trying to get up and couldn't move and my cousin who I hear splashing through the water to get me and when he picked me up all I could say was "man I really f...ed up this time" and was put back on my party barge while they called for an ambulance but we were on an island on the river and they said the chopper couldn't land there to pick me up so they told them to take me across the river to the landing and I barely remember being put in the ambulance I went out as they were loading me and I thought I was dying for sure.
It really made me mad a few months later when I realized I probably did as much damage to my neck bouncing across that river at full speed as I did breaking it but hind sight is 20/20.
So I knew I had a sci as soon as it happened.
