yes, i use ms-xp. you can clean lots of temp files in a few ways. call ut the Explorer, Right Click Start and select explore. you can get the 'tree' view by selecting View - Explorer Bar - Folders. go up a few folders to local settings - temporary internet files. in there you can delete everything. there are temp and history directorys that can be cleaned out too.
you can clean your whole disk using the DEL command too. open a DOS window, Start - run - type 'cmd'. then type del /? - that will tell you how to use the command. del c:\*.tmp /s - this will delete all files ending with .tmp on your c drive. be careful with this command as once you run it, the files are truely gone. stick this del commandn into a bat file in the c:\Documents and Settings\yourname\Start Menu\Programs\Startup directory and it will run every time you reboot. good luckl, dave --- "David K.
