<> Make sure you're well-hydrated. If your body fluid levels are low,
then your blood pressure may be on the low side. Make sure you drink at
least 3 litres of fluid a day, including plenty in the evenings. Make
sure you have a healthy evening meal with plenty of carbohydrate
to provide sustained energy release throughout the night. Waking up
with
a low blood sugar can aggravate hypotension, and may be the actual
cause
of your blackouts so keep a dark block of chocolate for the night.

Fludrocortisone (Florinef) forces more salt into the
bloodstream, 0.1 mg daily starting dose, but this can cause Hypokalemia (low potassium), and hypomagnesemia (low
magnesem) over time but normal supplements will correct that.

My spinal cord Dr. said it's normal for quads to have low
blood pressure. When I have a u.t.i., one of the symptoms are low,
70/40. My norm is 100/80.
