I have a new Invacare sitting in my dining room right now. I am waiting on a better drive system and on armrests which support my elbows. I currently have one of those hideous chin controls, but I am hopeful that will be able to put on a headrest which will allow me to push back proportional to the speed which I want to go. They indicated this chair has all the bells and whistles, but I have not seen everything the vendor originally told me it had. It does turn on a dime and is somewhat smoother than my previous chair. It also has a cruise control, which in my opinion is very intriguing.
Has anyone else had experience with a proportional head control, not the Peachtree?

I've done some research on power wheelchairs and concluded thatmy next chair will be from Invocare and get into the Storm Series oftheir chairs. I've heard from my Vendor here in California anyway'sthat they have a good report for holding up to everyday going placesand also may just have the accessaries for a Quadriplegic may need.Try their website : http://www.invocare.com and see if there is a chairfor you their. I'm sure they have a 1-800 to call and Amye has a goodthing for you to do too. Get a prescription from the Doctor and alsolet him know that the chair your in is very uncomfortable for you tosit in all the time you spend mobile.Chet ( Cquad7 ) C-6 incomplete C-7 complete
