Hi Dana,
It's because his name is in the 'To' box along with the Quad-List, so if someone, like me, hits 'Reply To All' without looking at the 'To' box, the Reply will go to you, him, and the List. If I hit 'Reply To Sender' it is sent to just you unless the Quad-List Addy is inserted into the 'To' box. I hope this makes sense.
