Signature stamps are ok, and legal in most states, but you surrender some
freedom, rights and protection by having one. By legally using a signature
stamp, you automatically give anyone who has possession of it, to use it
for whatever reason. And this could be very costly to you should it end up
in the hands of someone who shouldn't have it. An angry caregiver could
have a field day with your signature.
So if you do choose to have one, make sure that it is protected from being
lost, stolen or misused while you are sleeping or away.
A nano gram of prevention is worth several tons of cure.

legal eagles. Right now, my parents have power of attorney. I did it

way back years ago. At the time, it was just easier to let them sign

things for me. I really wasn't in the right frame of mind to put a pen

in my mouth and sign paperwork up to my ass. Lately though, it has

become a pain in the ass as I've found myself in situations where I need

something signed and my parents aren't around. Anyway can use the stamp

or do I have to have my parents power of attorney rescinded first. Thanks
