Hi Ray,
My TV has a timer that I set to turn it off after the local news is over (10:30 PM here). I'm usually in bed and will try to stay awake for the weather at about 10:15, but I don't always make it. I use a Spenco Overlay and don't get turned until my PCA gets here at 8 AM. I can raise the head of my bed after I do my morning workout between 6-7 AM. I have my morning meds where I can take them at about 7:15 AM. I really like this Spenco. I am able to shift myself when I'm in bed and haven't gotten a bed sore from being in bed since I first started using it in '89.
This Page tells about the technology in the making of the Spenco Overlay. http://www.spenco-healthcare.co.uk/
This Page is where I found out about the Spenco Bed Pad with Silicore Padding. http://www.albionsmo.com/pr-spenco-silicore.asp
Good luck!
With Love,

Hi Dave,I was wondering since you get up early, you go to bed early too? If so do you get turned at night? The reason I ask is because my devoted wife does my turn at night and she is starting to burn outafter 10 1/2 yrs. I thought about not getting turned, but I don't want to risk getting bed sores. Ican't get help for night turns. How many people here don't get turned at night and don't havebed sores?Thanks,RayC3/6-10 1/2 yrs PostAB, Canada----- Original Message -----From: David K. I also wake up at 5:55 AM at the latest each morning. I have a stop-watch with a beep alarm hanging by my bed set to go off at 6 AM but am always awake when it goes off. I sleep straight through the night unless there is something wrong with me, or outside and inside. I feel I am blessed! With Love,
