oh i have been to the chiropractor many times before injury and it was wonderful... i have been several times since sci... it was scary at first. i don't let them mess with the fused area, but below is ok. they also adjust my hips and keep them in line....sigh.. wish was there right now

Little Quad...In spite of positive benefits I received from chiropractors prior to my injury, I cannot imagine a chiropractor willing to risk doing spinal manipulation/adjustments on a quadriplegic as the result of spinal cord injury, nor would I be willing to risk spinal manipulation/adjustments, fused or otherwise. I realize that chiropractors do more than just spinal manipulation, i.e. massage therapy and ultrasound. I would be very interested in your treatments and results if you are willing to share them.Good luck!Steve
