Hi Dana,
Any info that I can get from others will help. I'm just learning about laptops, well, as they call them now, notebooks, so everything helps. Thank you.

Hi Dave,
I have a Hewlett-Packard, but I don't know the specifications . I know, it was purchased at Sam's Club. I could not find this site online, they must have a newer model . It does pretty well with Dragon. I don't really know how well it types , because I use Dragon, not the keyboard too much. I have trouble using a mouse pad and I still don't know how to make sticky keys work. I would get a service plan. Sam's Club has some good deals, maybe, you know a better place. I will look on the web site and see if it is there . I like service plans on electronics. I like the service plans at best buy better, because as you take them to the store. You have to mail in the machine with the Sam's service plan, which is a pain for me. I use it on wireless router. The batteries don't seem to last anytime that all. I would like to know what like other people have with their batteries. It seems to be much better than my previous one much sturdier. Which was a Compaq Presario. my aid picked up my Compaq and shattered the screen inside, not picking it up right and did something to the microphone plug in , so it would no longer work. . Common sense sometimes does not reign.I don't know if this helped at all. I am quite computer illiterate. Sorry.Good luck with your new laptop!Dana512 is not enough, I don't know if it would be cheaper to buy a larger amount of RAM in it she began with or to have it put in. My brother has not added to it, but I know it would really help, if you're using Dragon. I will look up the specifications. I think it was 1495.do you use Dragon?Best buy told me that you could use a wireless mic with some of the laptops? Does anyone know anything about that. I had a Bluetooth for my cell phone that it would not work because I did not have the right cell phone. I couldn't get singular to find a Sony Ericsson. Joan had posted several months ago about her hands free cell phone, but I have not been able to reach her to find out where she actually bought her Sony Ericsson as she said she had Cingular service. I have written her numerous times with no response. Cingular wanted me to find out from her the exact store. She purchased so they can order. Is that not ridiculous that they couldn't figure out where they sell it. They said they did not sell that found in the Kansas City area.
