i have dreams i'm cutting my grand daughter's arms and legs off, maiming her and snapping her neck.  pretty brutal wake-ups - cold sweats and everything.  like the sci isn't already enough to deal with.  dave

Bobbie,

I have dreams like that, too, I believe it's our subconcious helping us release anger and frustrations in a way our bodies no longer can. I don't think it means you're a homocidal maniac, as I'm sure you may think, just that you've found a different way to vent. I appreciate my angry dreams because I feel like they help release that negative energy in a safe manner. So, don't feel bad, okay? You're not alone in these experiences and not as violent as some either! For ex: in my dreams I've spilt open a roommate's head with a hatchet, I've beat up my ex, and had fights with faceless strangers, etc. It sounds awful, I know, but, honestly, outside of my dreams I'm really nice! :o)
