It sounds like we have exactly the same set-up, Sandy.

I also have a Dodge grand Caravan with a lowered floor and an
electric side ramp [BRAUN ENTERVAN]. It is also set out to that I
sit in the passenger position with the EZlock right there. The
problem is the EZlock been right they are almost right in the way.
Especially with the big front tires of my permobile wheelchair.
I don't have the same set up, but
I do have the EZlock on my full size Ford. I bought it used and it was
set up for another driver,,,a man who was taller. We took it to a
shop that builds these vans,,,turned out they did the original
conversion on mine,,,anyway, they simply moved it fwd. If it's too
much of a hassle jiggling around to it, perhaps this could be an option.
Worked for me but it was on the drivers side & a full size van...who
knows?
