I am about the same level and have had a mitrofinoff for about 14 years, since the same year I was injured.  I love it- I can pee freely and do it everywhere.  In the car, dark corners, behind dumpsters, etc.  I used to wear a binder and would just fold it down while I cathed.  Now I wear these girdle/underwear type things.  Same routine.  If that's the only prob, I'd say get it done and work out the logistics later.  In other words, you will adapt, as usual!
Good luck with your decision.

C 5-6 female quad here, 11 years post injury. I currently have an indwelling cath. I have had to increase the size of the cath to an 18 french with 15 cc of water.  I am wondering if it is time to consider a super pubic. I've herd of the benefits. I have one problem. I have to wear an abdominal binder for blood pressure reasons. Will this interfere with the super pubic?

Thanks,

julie
