I am sad to hear that Dave is in pain and especially having to end up in the Hospital over what has happen to him. I do not know him very well but I want to Wish him all the Best of getting all back to his Better Self or atleast as Good He was before this.
I don't Pray much to be Truthful but I always depend on Hope, so I Hope he gets out soon and back to his routine at home with you.

Just a quick note for Dave - he is in the hospital. Took him to the ER on 11/01 and they decided to admit him. Same massive infection and swelling in the perianal area. Lots of pain and swelling. After much testing, they discovered a small fissure in his urethra. It is allowing urine to seep in to the surrounding tissue, causing massive swelling and infection. The doctors have not decided on whether to cauterize the opening or to make an incision and go in to repair it. They inserted a PICC Line yesterday and he will go home with that, when they decide he's ready to go home. A Home Health nurse will have to come daily for the antibiotic IV.Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. He'll be back on line as soon as he can. He misses you all.Patty O'Connell
