Hi Dan, I live in Minneapolis, so my acute care was done at Hennepin County Medical Center, from there I went to Bethesda in St. Paul for more acute care due to having pneumonia and then to a nursing home for one month, then to Sister Kenny Rehab Institute, and now I'm at the Courage Center in Golden Valley where I've been for a year. I own a house in northeast Minneapolis that is currently on the market for sale because it is a two-story home that I'm unable to reconstruct from my needs (partly because it's a post-Victorian home with natural woodwork and hardwood floors as well as the Butler's pantry in the kitchen that I don't have the heart to tear apart). So, I have been here without any rehab for the last six months because my insurance is no longer able to authorize me for anymore in -- patient units. In the meanwhile I have been looking for a place to live while my house sells in order to purchase and rehab a new one. And there are unfortunately a couple of roadblocks to accomplishing that. One of them being my 16-year-old son who currently lives with his father, that will be living with me half time and his father half time. He goes to school inner-city, and as long as he does is able to go to the school that he really likes (and that I also really like for him), so therefore I have to live inner city in order for him to be able to bus to school since I don't have a van yet, nor does he have a drivers license. A couple other roadblocks have to do with public housing, section 8, 2 bedrooms, etc. etc. not to mention I have a couple of really cute cats that need to come live with me again. Oh boy, I realized I just gave you a really lengthy answer, sorry about that. Anyway, thanks. I hope to be back soon.Belle

I am only 18 months out, so I realize I'm really new at this. But boy I sure feel like I have a lot to learn. I know what an environmental control unit is, but as far as the UPS, and other initials and such that are being used I have no clue how to follow them. Can anyone help me? By the way, I came to know of this site through Steve Oldaker; he is friends/acquaintances with my father's cousin. I am very grateful for the connection. Thanks, LJ Belle [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I sure feel silly. When power goes off here I have a flashlight I can shake and radio/cd player. When things get bad, I have a 1000 watt power inverter for the wheelchair batteries to operate my bed and whatever else. (I know it doesn't add life to my batteries.) I try to be positive and name the mice that are wondering "What did I do this time?" john -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED]; [EMAIL PROTECTED] Cc: quad-list@eskimo.com Sent: Sat, 13 Jan 2007 7:57 PM Subject: Re: [QUAD-L] Environmental Control Units .AOLPlainTextBody { FONT-SIZE: 12px; MARGIN: 0px; COLOR: #000; FONT-FAMILY: Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, Sans-Serif; BACKGROUND-COLOR: #fff } .AOLPlainTextBody PRE { FONT-SIZE: 9pt } .AOLInlineAttachment { MARGIN: 10px } .AOLAttachmentHeader { BORDER-RIGHT: #7da8d4 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: #7da8d4 1px solid; BACKGROUND: #f9f9f9; FONT: 11px arial; BORDER-LEFT: #7da8d4 1px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #7da8d4 1px solid } .AOLAttachmentHeader .Title { PADDING-RIGHT: 3px; PADDING-LEFT: 3px; BACKGROUND: #b5ddfa; PADDING-BOTTOM: 3px; FONT: 11px arial; PADDING-TOP: 3px } .AOLAttachmentHeader .FieldLabel { PADDING-RIGHT: 10px; PADDING-LEFT: 9px; BACKGROUND: #f9f9f9; PADDING-BOTTOM: 1px; FONT: 11px arial; COLOR: #000000; PADDING-TOP: 1px } .AOLAttachmentHeader .FieldValue { BACKGROUND: #f9f9f9; FONT: 11px arial; COLOR: #000000 } .AOLAttachmentHeader A { COLOR: #2864b4; TEXT-DECORATION: none } .AOLImage A { COLOR: #2864b4; TEXT-DECORATION: none } .AOLAttachmentHeader A:hover { COLOR: #2864b4; TEXT-DECORATION: underline } .AOLImage A:hover { COLOR: #2864b4; TEXT-DECORATION: underline } BODY { BORDER-RIGHT: 0px; BORDER-TOP: 0px; FONT-SIZE: 10pt; BORDER-LEFT: 0px; BORDER-BOTTOM: 0px; FONT-FAMILY: "Verdana"; BACKGROUND-COLOR: white } P { PADDING-RIGHT: 0px; PADDING-LEFT: 0px; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0px; MARGIN: 0px; PADDING-TOP: 0px } IMG.managedImg { WIDTH: 0px; HEIGHT: 0px } IMG.placeholder { BORDER-RIGHT: #dadad6 1px solid; BORDER-TOP: #dadad6 1px solid; BACKGROUND: #f4f4f4 no-repeat center center; BORDER-LEFT: #dadad6 1px solid; WIDTH: 275px; BORDER-BOTTOM: #dadad6 1px solid; HEIGHT: 206px } Yes, it has the automatic lock off control.
