I tried that once but they refused to serve me there saying it was a safety
issue - they were afraid someone would drive over me! They said I would have to
go inside to be served.

response:

>Hi all,
>Yesterday my husband and I drove into Burger King and we were going to place
>our order in the drive thru. When we got to the sign there was a man in a
>wheelchair placing his order. When he got to the window they put his order in
>the back pack on his chair. He then went on his way. When we got our order I
>wanted to find him to see how far he was from home. He went about 3 blocks to
>his apartment. He told me he did this with some of his bill paying. He said
>so many places he went had safety glass and someone would have to come around
>to help him and he found it easier just to go thru the drive thru . I wondered
>what the difference was in paying thru a window slot on inside and outside but
> it must be something I hadn't thought of.
