i had a Redman manual that was pretty crappy. the frame broke after a year
or so and I took it back after 10 years and they laughed when I said I
wanted it welded on the 'lifetime' warranty. they asked, "just how long do
you
think that lifetime warranty lasts anyway?" it was a spare for emergencies
since it was very awkward to push. the front casters were tilted backwards
instead of frontwards which means when you stop pushing, the natural resting
position for them was pointing backwards. as I pushed, the casters would spin
around frontwards (thus lifting the front of the chair slightly) making it so
that the chair would 'fall off' the casters and wander left or right due to
the weight on them forcing them to their resting direction - backwards. they
never did understand my complaint. they were VERY dis-interested in
satisfying this customer.

Anybody have any experience with Redman wheelchairs? They look good but I've
never heard much about them.
