I think everything is up to your personal needs. However, one thing I noticed about the new TDX5 is that it seemed wider than my older storm series.
I am thinking about going with Permobile or Quickie. Unfortunately I am going to be using a chin control in order to operate the chair. I saw an individual using his chin control (with one of those bibs) really well and he happened to have about the same amount of return as I do. The only thing I am worried about is how rough the thing rides in my van. I have heard horror stories about the new Permobiles bouncing the occupants to death when they ride around in a van.
