So sorry, Eddie. I'm really glad you survived, though!! My 13th year is on
the 31st, that means that everyday after that one will be over half of my life
like this, ventilator dependent quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury at the
levels of C1 and C2. All because some füker wasn't paying attention to his
turn signal and the road in front of him. I know everyone's reason for being
paralyzed, especially when the reason is because of someone else, is awful.
I'm not trying to one up anybody. I'm just trying to ignore, (but have a need
to acknowledge), that after the 31st of August, every day is going to be one
more day that outnumbers the 13 years, two months, two weeks, and a few days
that I was able bodied.
