I live in Ohio. I pay Duke energy to supply gas and electric. When a hurricane
scooted along the Atlantic shore it knocked down wires there and Duke owns most
of the power there, so Duke sent repairmen there. Then Ike hit Texas and they
sent repairmen there. Sunday the Ohio valley was hit with sustained gale force
winds. My power just came on this morning because there were so few Duke
repairmen left. I do hope everyone made it through the bad weather.

Yikes! I guess 20 hours isn't as bad as two to three weeks. I'm glad to hear
you're okay.
I was sure frightened that bad storm might actually hit Florida, but my relief
was someone else's misery.
Take care,
Quadius

I know we have a few people here that are in the Texas area, just checking in
to see if everyone is OK, after hurricane Ike?
