just make sure your podiatrist does it for you, though. i had a partial toenail removal done to get rid of fungus and worked quite well.

When we followed the directions, applying the medication liberally and making sure the toenail is roughed up by a file or stone every now and then, the toenail looks pretty normal. I heard from some nurses a while back that another good treatment to use is Vick's Vapor Rub. My understanding is that you simply applied to the nail and it should be able to resolve the situation within a matter of months. This is a lot cheaper than buying medication.
