I lie awake at night a lot so I USED to take some kind of sleepy type stuff
most of which contain Diphenhydramine. ( Benedryl ) This seems to be the
cause of most of my nasty spasms. I used to twitch and jerk around like I
was stuck on an electric fence with sharp jabbing muscle jerks about every
8 seconds. I stopped all medications a while back and noticed that these
very annoying spasms went away. I tried my wife's Ambien ( zolpidem )
and found instant relief from lying awake AND spasms - what a great drug. I
wish I'd have tried NO meds a long time ago.

============================
On a side note, I also get stuffy nose quite often and USED to use
dollar-a-gallon nose spray that worked very well but never was a final fix.
Guess why...! Take a look at the side effects.....
Oxymetazoline HCL Side Effects

Side Effects
Because it is applied topically rather than ingested or injected, most of
oxymetazoline's effects are local and mild. You may experience sneezing,
stinging or burning sensation, nasal dryness or irritation. With long-term
use, you may experience continued runny nose, worsened congestion, _nasal
irritation_
(http://www.ehow.com/about_5475867_oxymetazoline-hcl-side-effects.html#) and,
in some cases, nosebleed.

Once again, the cure is worse than the affliction.!
Beware of 'friendly' looking drugs.
