For some reason I'm able to keep my quad belly fairly flat, I guess through my eating. I know we all experience the gas problem and GAS X works really good for me. That is what usually makes my stomach expand after eating until after my bowel routine. Your little Chihuahua sounds adorable and much like my 5 pound yorkie. She liked on my lap most of the day. I have a small clipboard sideways on top of the book that I position towards my knees attached with a soft rubber to my wheelchair sidepads. They come in different colors. I place a small sheepskin in front of the book/clipboard that I place my cell phone, iPod and small Tupperware water holder for my yorkie. I have a plexiglass tray that goes on Permobile but Zoe likes to laugh better than the plexiglass small tray. I know it depends on the size of your dog as to where they can lay down.. As we all know, we will always have the Battle of the Bulge belly to fight. As anybody ever tried the hydrating vegetables that tastes just like chips. I'm not sure of the process. We have a new place at the mall called Café Fresh Express that sells really great sandwiches, wraps, homemade soups, fruit wraps and the chips. There's a lot of other things I have not tried. I wish they had more restaurants that were healthy. My favorite restaurant is Montana's Grill as I love Buffalo and it is much lower in fat.. I eat a lot of fish and Turkey, chicken. I don't eat much cheese unless it 2% or fat-free instead and skin milk. I usually one piece of whole grain bread on the sandwich, I also eat bran cereal and low-fat Activa yogurt every day... I'm sure the fish prices will go up with the oil disaster. I also like a lot of salads and fresh fruit in the summer and don't forget to eat vegetables and fresh tomatoes... I find Sam's Club is much cheaper for fresh fruit in most instances. . What are some things others on the list do or eat to assist with their weight control? What vitamins do any of you take? I think I overdue on vitamins. I would appreciate any suggestions from the game.. Here is the website for pink rubber twist tie from Amazon. I got black ones at Hy-Vee. I also ordered blue. They can be used for so many things. _http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HZBQ92/ref=oss_product_ (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000HZBQ92/ref=oss_product) .

From now on I will be referring to mine as my Buddha Belly - because Buddhas are cuter than quads and they bring to mind a thought of the spiritual side of our existence. My BB is now to the maturity level such that my little Chihuahua can rest his head on it or put his front legs up on it while he licks my chin and begs for food. He also loves the little hide-away spot just under BB and above my belt line where he nibbles on the crumbs I have dropped from the last meal. He roots around in there like a badger rooting for foxes in their dens. .I'm thinking there is no cure for BB short of starvation - and I'm not to that point in my life yet. My BB used to hurt most of the time, which may have been my ever constant presence of gas bubbles or - maybe I'm just getting used to the uncomfortable stuffed feeling now. In either case, it doesn't hurt as much anymore and for that I am glad. AZDAVE
