Hi all -- Any photographers on the list? If so, you should check out the Reeve Foundation's 2011 Photo Contest. http://bit.ly/fEr4V3 This year's theme is "Share with the World the Faces and Places of Your Life." You can enter your favorite portrait in the faces category or your favorite travel photo in the places category. One grand prize winner will receive a private photography lesson with photographer Christopher Voelker, who has shot celebrities ranging from Ringo Starr to Rhianna. Christopher has been living with quadriplegia since he was sixteen. Other winners in each category will have their photos prominently displayed on the Reeve Foundation website. All entries must be received by March 11, 2011. A panel of judges organized by the Reeve Foundation will select finalists and then the public will vote to determine the winners. Photos can be black and white or color and shot on any camera. The only restriction to enter is that the contest entrant must be living with paralysis. He or she must either have taken the photo or be in the photo. Even if you don't want to submit a photo, you may want to check it out so you can vote for your favorites when the finalists are announced.
