Hi,
Yes for the H.O. I had to take 1 med (?) to get the growing to stop. Then 
another one (some Arthritis med) for a few weeks after.
If that does not stop it, they can use localized radiation.
Mine was egg size and they didn't want to cut it out because it would cause 
lots of bleeding, which can cause even more H.O. to start growing.
I mentioned to my doc yesterday that my thigh was throbbing the last few weeks 
at nights, so I'm getting a hip x-ray after I get my butt fixed.
I'm supposed to get it checked once a year anyway.
