The Achieving Better Life Experience Act bill, also known as the ABLE Act
is a federal legislative bill that would give people with disabilities the
ability to save money for their family’s needs without jeopardizing their
benefits. The bill, when passed, will create savings accounts that can be
used to pay for education, health care, transportation, housing and other
expenses for people with disabilities.
The bill has received a tremendous amount of bipartisan support so far but
more cosponsors are definitely needed. Right now there are _74 cosponsors
in the House of Representatives.
