I am using Optimum Nutrition 100% WHEY GOLD STANDARD once a day (tropical punch) 1 1/2 scoops in 16 oz. of water = 36 g of protein. My Dr said I needed extra protein for my skinny arse, not for a wound, just for the extra protein. It isn't too bad, I tried some GNC stuff before the Optimum Nutrition, but the Optimum Nutrition seems to mix up better. Best, Tim c5-c6- approaching 24 yrs. post

You can double the recommended powder for extra protein. Best Wishes In a message dated 4/4/2012 6:15:58 P.M. I just had my protein checked and even though I’ve increased it in my diet, it is still lower than it was when it was low. So now I have low protein, low blood count, and low testosterone. I take a max dose of testosterone pumps and it’s barely raising. My body is just not adsorbing this stuff, natural or in extra supplements. Yet another doc appointment to try and figure it out. Greg
