The hospital had started me on Colace, but that takes too long for me. Instead, I use chocolate Exlax and it helps tremendously. If I had the choice, I would rather have loose stools because I get pain in my legs if I have to hold my urine too long. Pain kicks in my legs if I get constipated too, so I do anything to prevent it.
